[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We have just installed our latest folding arm awning, our awnings have a low profile foot print, with fully enclosed hood, protecting your fabric during Hobart and Ballarat winters.  Out awnings come with integrated LED lighting in both the arms and at the rear of the awning enabling the light to operate if the awning is close while still providing lighting to the Deck/entertainment space.   The model shown here allows for a maximum span of 6m with a projection of 3m. A folding arm awning is a type of retractable awning that extends out from a building using articulated arms. These awnings are typically mounted to a wall and can be opened or closed with a manual crank or an electric motor (DC or 240v) Key Features: Space-Saving Design : When retracted, the awning folds up neatly against the wall, saving space and maintaining a clean look.  We prefer fully enclosed awnings. BAL40 Bi-fold Folding Flyscreen

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Bi-Fold Folding Flyscreen to BAL40 So you have installed your big sliding or bi-fold doors, and now you want flyscreens.  However you are in a BAL-19 or above fire rated area.  Currently there are two choices for bi-folding door and larger sliding doors, peated flyscreen or retractable flyscreen.  Unfortunately these are not suitable for BAL-19 and above. Remembering The BAL19 standard for flyscreens requires the following: Material : Screens must be made from a non-combustible material, bushfire resisting timber, or timber with a density of at least 750 kg/m³   Mesh : Screens must have a 2 mm mesh or perforated sheet made from corrosive resistant steel, bronze, or aluminum   Openable portions : Openable portions of windows must be screened This is where out latest bi-folding flyscreen are suitable they are made from the the same mesh that is in our security door products. Get Ready for Fire Season with BAL-40 Roller Shutters

They provide a barrier against fire, and flying embers/debris and smoke, helping to contain it and protect the building and its occupants.  The BAL 40 standard, or Bushfire Attack Level 40, is  a rating that indicates a building is at high risk of ember attack and exposure to high levels of radiant heat . It's the second-highest level of bushfire attack before direct exposure to flames.
