BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) ratings are used in Australia to classify the level of risk a property may face in the event of a bushfire. The BAL rating is based on factors such as the type of vegetation, the slope of the land, and the distance of the property from potential fire threats. Different types of fire roller shutters may be recommended based on the BAL rating. Here are general guidelines:
BAL 29 (Bushfire Attack Level 29):
